AUTUMN 2013 – SPILLING THE BEANS

Working as part of Art Up Close & Crewe Senior Forum providing a series of six workshops during 2013. The collaborative project involved working with 50+ senior residents of Crewe to create art journal pages, which were collated and displayed on a life-sized tree sculpture made from recycled materials by the group. All work from the project was taken on a touring exhibition around Crewe during 2014, starting at Crewe Hall.

It was a brilliant opportunity for our senior members to share their memories, be creative and experiment with ideas, materials and techniques to tell their stories.
