Location: Gallery 2, Castle Park Arts Centre, Frodsham
Cost: £15 per session pay as you go or £90 total for all 6 weeks (payable at first session)
Level: Ideal for beginners or more advanced levels.
This 6 week art workshop explores various painting techniques and skills to create expressive oil landscape paintings under professional artist guidance and tuition using artist quality materials.
The course covers many aspects and approaches to landscape painting using oils including working from photos, developing creative compositions & lively tonal value sketches, colour mixing, expressive mark making and developing texture, glazing, impasto plus mixed media techniques. Plenty demonstrations of painting techniques and styles.
All artist quality materials provided (no need to buy). Free tea, coffee & parking. Gift Vouchers from £15 can be used towards this course are now available upon request by email.

Mixed Media Pastel & Acrylic Painting
An introductory workshop to combining mixed media techniques using acrylic & pastels. Techniques include working with monoprints, collage & other media to create layered and textural paintings inspired by nature or the landscape.
