THEME: MIXED MEDIA AUTUMN LAND & SEASCAPES (ACRYLIC/OIL/PASTEL)
DATES: SEPT 14th, 28th, OCT 12th, 19th & 26th, NOV 9th (6 week block)
Location: Castle Park Arts Centre in Frodsham, Gallery 2

Explore creating beautiful autumnal landscape or seascape paintings with a focus on using acrylic inks & pastel, acrylic & mixed media or acrylic with oil .. the choice is yours.
This six week art workshop includes working with:
- techniques for working with mixed/multi media, acrylic, oil, inks & pastels
- monoprinting with acrylics
- collage
- colour theory & tonal values
- composition
- layering, pattern & texture techniques
- drawing & sketching
The first two sessions explore fundamental techniques for drawing/painting in you chosen media, preparing and creating enphemera for collage followed by developing your composition and applying the techniques learned to a final piece of work including adding final touch techniques to add pop to your artwork.
Please bring a reference photo or picture/sketch.
Time permitting you may work on one or more pieces during the workshop.
Ideal for beginners or more advanced students looking to develop their techniques and skills using and looking at new ways for combining different media or working in different styles.
COST: £15 per session/pay as you go or £90 for the full 6 week block payable at first session.
All artist quality materials & equipment is supplied although you are welcome to bring your own too.
