Introducing two exciting mixed media workshops for the summer and early autumn this year.
THEME: EXPRESSIVE EXPRESSION PORTRAITS
DATES: JULY 13, 20, 27 & August 3rd (4 week block)
In this block we will explore painting portraits of different facial expressions expressively in oils and/or acrylic. Portraits can be of animals or people. Please bring with you a reference photo of person/animal with a facial expression showing emotion or some kind of reaction.
The workshop is focused on painting expressively with loose brushwork or by using a variety of unusual painting tools to create expressive marks. A lively and fun workshop that encourages creativity to bring out the artist in you whilst also covering the basics of portraiture/animal painting.
Ideal for beginners or more advanced students looking to develop advanced techniques and skills using and combining different media.
COST: £15 per session/pay as you go or £50 per block payable at first session.
All artist quality materials are supplied although you are welcome to bring your own too.
Location: Castle Park Arts Centre in Frodsham
