Introduction to Tempera (Art Classes 2014)

Evening art classes: APRIL  10, 17 & MAY 8, 15, 22 from 7 to 9 pm

This block of 5 workshops provides a short introduction to using and working with Tempera as an alternative painting medium and forms part of my teachings in fine art painting & mixed media art.

An ideal opportunity to experience and learn some of the fine art painting skills of the ancients & early renaissance.

In addition to developing basic painting and drawing techniques this art class includes a guide to mixing paints using raw and other pigments, covers basic techniques and methods of paint application and completing a project of your choice.

Course includes expert tuition. All artist quality materials and equipment is provided.

Please bring relevant references to work from for each of these sessions.

To book on this five week course payment of £62.50 (£12.50 pp per session) will be needed in advance and full payment will be due at the first session in April. Cash is preferred however cheques or bank transfers are also acceptable upon request.

All tools and equipment will be provided and included in price. Also free to bring your own materials or photos to use at the workshops. Many of my students also use smartphones & IPads as part of their working so feel free to bring these if necessary.

Tea and Coffee provided FREE on site.
